Dr Dans is where artists and dancers unite in BTV's buzzing downtown district, a space built for discovery.
Built from reused shipping containers and rising across two storeys, the venue bridges the distance between audience and artist, creating something that feels genuinely unlike anywhere else.
Having built a strong reputation with a cult following, the stage brings together headliners, homegrown talent, international acts and secret sets you won't see coming.
Dr Dans is in loving memory of our legendary friend Dr Daniel Christidis. Old friends, new friends, moments none of us will forget.

Beyond The Valley proudly supports Wadawurrung Traditional Custodians in presenting a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony to open the festival.
A Welcome to Country invites all who gather to enter Country with awareness, acknowledging the ancestral presence, deep law and living responsibility carried within this land.
This year, the ceremony will be delivered a little differently, bringing you closer to the story of this country and the people who've cared for it. We're going to leave exactly what that looks like as a surprise, but just make sure you're near the main stage on the 29th of December at 6:00pm. This is the kind of BTV core memory moment you're not going to want to miss.
We thank the Wadawurrung Peoples for their generosity, ongoing relationship and continued care for Country, and invite our community to tread gently across Wadawurrung and Eastern Maar Country, and leave Barunah Plains how we found it.

The vibrant centre of BTV, Main Street is a buzzing hub for fashion, wellness and community connection. Shop, get pampered and, of course, explore. You may find a side quest or two on your way to the arena.

Once you've spent the day exploring Main Street, make your way Downtown to maze through a playground of imagination.
With Dr Dan's stage as the loud and lawless epicentre, immersive curiosities await around every corner.
